Custom ´62 Chevy - Yellow Rat Rod

Hi people!!

Daqui para frente as customs serão mais "simples", na verdade repinturas. Estou estudando algumas técnicas novas para fazer carros velhos!

 

From now the customs will be more "simple", actually repainting.
I'm studying some new techniques to do old cars!

 

 

 

Até agora eu testei fazer a ferrugem (simular a cor) por cima da pintura "nova" com pincel e aerógrafo.
Depois, aplicar a cor de ferrugem como primeira camada e depois, com uma lixa d'água, remover a pintura "nova" para fazer o envelhecimento.
A custom de hoje foi "temperada" com sal.

So far I tested the rusty (simulating the color) over the "new" painting with brush and  airbrush.
After that, apply the rusty color as the first layer and after, with a water sandpaper, remove the "new" paint to do the aging.

Assim que eu terminar meus estudos de técnicas de envelhecimento, vou fazer um tutorial completinho, mas asseguro, que os últimos testes com sal me deixaram bem contente com o resultado final.

 As soon as i finish my studies of ageing techniques, I will do a full tutorial, but I ensure, that lasts testing using salt left me very happy with the end result.
